The long-awaited event Gamescom is finally taking place. At this event, Lenovo will be introducing 2 new computers they designed to be compatible with virtual reality. Since VR is gaining more and more ground in the tech industry, the company couldn’t stay behind and they designed the IdeaCentre AIO Y910 and the IdeaCentre Y710 Cube.
IdeaCentre AIO Y910 is a model that offers a Quad HD display without borders, measuring 27 inches. It runs on a NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU, or on AMD Radeon RX 460 and it includes Intel Core i7 processors. You receive maximum 32 GB RAM, a HDD of 2 TB or an SSD of 256 GB. Of course, Windows 10 comes pre-installed and the price for such a device starts at $1799. You will be able to buy it starting with October this year, which means you will have to wait a little more in order to enjoy this beauty.
The IdeaCentre Y710 Cube costs indeed less. However, it’s not the all-in-one device that the previous model represents. Even so, it’s still a great device, sporting the same NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU, Intel Core i7 processors, up to 32 GB RAM and the same options for internal storage: 256 GB SSD or 2 TB HDD. Moreover, it also runs on Windows 10, the most recent OS launched by Microsoft. This model will also be available starting October 2016, but it will cost just $1299, which is awesome, given the fact that it offers pretty much the same specs as the other model.
What is indeed impressive is the fact that both of them offer support for VR and all games from this category shouldn’t encounter any issue when played on these devices. Many fans are really excited about this and are interested in buying them as soon as possible.
