    Uninstall and reinstall the Conexant driver

  • While in the Device Manager, expand the Sound, video and game controllers section.
  • Right-click on the Conexant Smart Audio HD and click on Uninstall device.uninstall conexant audio driver

  • Go to Search, type msconfig, and open System Configuration.
  • Go to the Boot tab.
