1. Open the Printer Troubleshooter

Enter ‘troubleshoot’ in the text box to search for Troubleshoot settings.

2. Clear the Print Spool Folder

Users have also said that they’ve fixed Error Printing by clearing the Print Spooler folder. To do so, press the Windows key + R hotkey, which opens Run.

Enter services.msc in the Open box, and click the OK button.

Select the Apply option, and press the OK button.

Press the Windows key + E keyboard shortcut.

Input %WINDIR%system32spoolprinters in File Explorer’s address bar, and press the Enter key.

Then click the Delete button in File Explorer.

Close File Explorer’s window.

Open the Services window again by entering ‘services.msc’ in Run.

Double-click Print Spooler to open its window, and press the Start button.

Select the OK option to close the window.

3. Check the Printer’s Port Settings

Enter ‘Control Panel’ in Run, and select the OK option.
